Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 1, 2026

This policy explains what information DepletionIQ ("we," "us") collects through the depletioniq.io website and the DepletionIQ platform (together, the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what we need to run the Service, we don't sell your information, and the business data you bring to the platform belongs to you.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information. Name, email address, company, and role when you book a demo, create an account, or contact us.
  • Customer business data. Distributor reports, depletion and sales records, SKU and account lists, and related files you provide or authorize us to receive so we can operate the platform for you.
  • Usage information. Pages visited, features used, browser type, device type, and approximate location derived from IP address, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Communications. Emails, support requests, and call notes when you correspond with us.

2. How we use information

  • Provide, operate, and support the Service, including ingesting and processing distributor reports on your behalf.
  • Set up and manage accounts, billing, and onboarding.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide customer support.
  • Understand how the website and platform are used so we can improve them.
  • Send service notices and, if you opt in, product updates. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time.
  • Protect the security and integrity of the Service and comply with law.

3. Analytics and cookies

The website uses Google Analytics to understand site traffic. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives usage information as described in Google's own privacy documentation. You can limit analytics cookies through your browser settings or Google's opt-out tools. The platform uses session cookies required for login and security; those can't be disabled while using the product.

4. How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only with:

  • Service providers that help us run the Service — such as cloud hosting, email delivery, and analytics — under agreements that limit their use of the data to providing those services.
  • Professional advisors (lawyers, accountants) where reasonably needed.
  • Authorities if required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Service.
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

5. Your business data

Distributor reports and sales data you bring to the platform are yours. We use them only to provide the Service to you, as described in our Terms of Service. We do not share one customer's business data with another customer, and we do not use your data to build products for your competitors. Aggregated or de-identified information that cannot identify you or your business may be used to improve the Service.

6. Data retention

We keep account information for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal and accounting purposes. Customer business data is retained while your subscription is active and made available for export for at least 30 days after cancellation, after which it may be deleted. Website analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' standard retention settings.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and hosting with reputable cloud providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of any breach affecting your data as required by law.

8. Your choices and rights

  • You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us.
  • You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message.
  • You can control cookies through your browser settings.
  • Depending on where you live (for example, California or the EU), you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA or GDPR, including the right to know what personal information we hold and to request its deletion. We honor verified requests regardless of location.

9. Children

The Service is for businesses in the beverage alcohol industry and is not directed to anyone under 21. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the date above and notify you by email or in-app notice before the changes take effect.
